construction & toolmaking
The beginning of our forgingcooperation begins in our in-house design department. After a feasibility analysis, your drawings and technical specifications are converted into forge solutions that can be reproduced. The forging blank is designed in modern CAD systems and, if necessary, adapted in terms of manufacturability. A subsequent forming simulation makes it possible to identify any weak points in the forging process and to take design measures to secure the process in advance, while complying with the functional dimensions. For approvals and for demonstration purposes, we also offer the possibility to reproduce the forged parts with our 3D printer in advance of the first forging.
The processes described above use, among others, the following software products with which we offer a preferably open interface to common data formats:
• PTC Creo 3D-CAD
• simufact forming
• DEPO CAM
